What happens when popcorn and chocolate come together? Magic, pure magic. Sam’s Club has been nailing the exclusive offerings from Candy Pop with Twix Popcorn and Oreo Popcorn. Now the wholesale retailer has unveiled Snickers Popcorn to bring your favorite candy bar to new life.
The popcorn is drizzled with Snickers caramel and nuts, and is also made with real Snickers candy bar pieces so you get that chocolate flavor in there, too. The saltiness from the popcorn and nuts sound like a match made in snack heaven with the sweet caramel and chocolate.
“Candy Pop is the first popcorn to combine drizzled flavor with real candy pieces,” the description says. “Candy Pop is partnering with the renowned Snickers brand and giving customers two of their favorite snacks, Snickers candy and popcorn.”
Don’t go looking for the Snickers Popcorn at your local grocery store, because this is a Sam’s Club exclusive, a PR rep confirmed. You can find the
20-ounce bag on shelves for $5.98. The bag is resealable, but something tells us you won’t have to utilize it all that much.
A PR rep with Sam’s Club said in January that there would be new flavors coming within the next few months, and we certainly aren’t disappointed with the Snickers. But that has us wondering if anything else is in store. A Reese’s Popcorn maybe? Hey, we can dream.
